How we research qmcseries.com
Short version: the prices come straight from our own store every time the site is rebuilt, the specs come from Samsung's and LG's own data, and we sell everything we write about. Here's the long version.
Who writes these pages
The DisplayDetails team. That's the group that handles sales and hardware sourcing for DisplayDetails and its install arm, CrownTV, and answers (201) 834-6412. There are no outside writers and no named bylines: the company stands behind every page, and a mistake on one is ours to fix.
Most of what's here started as an answer to a buyer on the phone: will it wash out by the window, can one person hang it, does it need a player. We write those answers down with the numbers attached.
Where the data comes from
- displaydetails.com product data. Every price, stock status, part number and barcode on this site. It is read from the store's public product feed each time the site is rebuilt.
- Samsung and LG product data, through Open Icecat. Brightness, duty cycle, resolution, dimensions, weight, VESA pattern, inputs and power draw. The manufacturers supply this data to the Icecat catalog; our copy was last pulled on 2026-10-23.
- displaydetails.com shipping and return policies. Free freight to the contiguous US, the 5–7 business day ship window, the 30-day return window and the 30% restocking fee. We quote the policy pages, not memory.
- CrownTV install records and case studies. Install photos and client names. We only say which model a client used when the case study or job record says so.
- Samsung support and download pages. User manuals and spec-sheet PDFs. Each model page links straight to Samsung's own download page rather than a copy.
- CDW list prices for Samsung VXT licenses. The VXT CMS per-screen price, quoted with the date we checked it, because DisplayDetails quotes licenses rather than listing them.
Where a store listing and the manufacturer disagree on a spec, we go with the manufacturer. Where we couldn't confirm a figure, we leave the cell blank instead of guessing.
How often it refreshes
- Prices and stock: pulled from displaydetails.com on every rebuild. If the store can't be reached, the build stops and the old version stays up; it never publishes with missing prices. The prices you see now are from October 23, 2026.
- Specs: refreshed by hand when a product line changes. Last pulled 2026-10-23.
- Third-party prices (anything we don't sell, like a scheduling panel or an install package) carry the date we checked them, next to the number.
The price at checkout on displaydetails.com is the one you pay. If it ever differs from a number here, tell us and we'll fix the page.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong? Email hello@displaydetails.com with the page address and what you think is off. We check it against the manufacturer's data or the store listing, and correct the page if we got it wrong.
Independence: we sell these screens
This is not an independent review site. qmcseries.com is run by Crown Heights Communication, Inc., which does business as DisplayDetails, an authorized Samsung reseller that also sells LG commercial displays. Its installation side, CrownTV, installs them. Every Buy button goes to our own store and carries a tracking tag so we can see which site sent the order.
That means we only cover brands we sell, and you should read our comparisons with that in mind. What we try to do in return: list real prices, say when the cheaper option is fine, and say when a consumer TV or a tablet is the right answer instead of a commercial display.
