What the difference buys
Brightness. 300 nits is TV territory. It's fine in a conference room with the blinds down. Under store lighting, or anywhere near a window, the QET looks gray next to a QMC.
Age. QET launched on Tizen 4.0. QMC runs Tizen 7.0. Newer signage apps and Samsung's own VXT updates target the newer platform first, and over a 5 to 7-year life that gap grows.
Depth. The QET is about 2.4 inches deep against the QMC's 1.1. On a flat wall mount, that's the difference between "flush" and "TV on a wall".
Inputs. Two HDMI on the QET against three plus DisplayPort on the QMC. Fine for one player, tight for a meeting room.

Is the Samsung QET series a commercial display?
Yes. QET is Samsung's entry commercial signage line, with a commercial warranty and no TV tuner. It's an older platform than QMC (Tizen 4.0 against Tizen 7.0) and dimmer at 300 nits.

If the room has no windows and the screen runs office hours, QET is fine and saves money. If it faces a window or runs 24/7, buy QMC.
